Get a free melanoma spot check on the 15th of April at Milford Centre.
This April, put your health front and centre and take advantage of a free melanoma spot check at Milford Shopping Centre on April 15.
From 10am to 2pm, Melanoma New Zealand will have their mobile clinic on-site, with experienced staff ready to offer professional skin checks and answer any questions you may have. It’s a simple, proactive step that could make all the difference.
You’ll find the van conveniently located at the front of the centre, near Coco & Belle, making it easy to drop by while you’re out and about.
Your skin tells a story. Make sure it’s one of care, awareness, and confidence.

Melanoma New Zealand champions melanoma prevention, detection and patient care for all people in New Zealand. If melanoma is caught and treated early enough, it is almost always curable, early diagnoses can be lifesaving. The first sign is often a change in the size, shape or colour of an existing spot, or the appearance of a new spot.
Melanoma is almost always preventable, and it is essential for New Zealanders to develop good sun smart habits from an early age. As you get older, the build-up of UV exposure over your lifetime leads to damaged skin and an increased likelihood of melanoma.
