Your safety is our top priority, which is why we have stringent health and safety measures in place at Milford Centre to minimise the risk of transmission of CVOID-19.
The following measures are in place:
Zoono Microbe Shield
All surfaces at Milford Centre will continue to be treated monthly with a Zoono Microbe Shield.
This is a sanitising germ protection spray that protects against 99.99% of bacteria for up to 30 days.
This will keep touchpoints hygienic and prevent surface transmission of COVID-19.
Zoono doesn’t use alcohol or dangerous chemicals to kill germs and has food safety approvals in Australia and New Zealand.
See the image below of this treatment being applied by the Sterico team.
We have full-time cleaners focusing on common areas and touch points, such as handrails, bathrooms and doors.
Our cleaners conduct thorough, deep cleans of the Centre each evening.
The Zoono treatment will not wash off during our routine cleaning.
We’ve made hand sanitiser available at all entries to Milford Centre.
QR code posters are available at every entry to Milford Centre and at the customer service kiosk. Download the NZ COVID Tracer app and then simply scan the QR code with your phone camera.
Seating areas will be rearranged to ensure social distancing is followed, including the food court area.
We have live to-the-minute updates of how many people are inside Milford Centre at any given time. We’ll be closely monitoring this to make sure we maintain a capacity that leaves space for social distancing.
When visiting Milford Centre, we ask that you do your part to prevent the spread of COVID-19 by:
- Staying home if you are sick
- Keeping a 2 metre social distance
- Wash and sanitise hands frequently
- Practise safe coughing and sneezing etiquette
